Angler 1 Sportfishing has been invited and is proud once again to have sponsored and organized the 2007 Wal-Mart All American Free Kids Fishing Derby. A smaller crowd than was expected showed but all the kids had a good time. As before, it was held at Lorenzi Park, located at the corner of Twin Lakes and Washington Ave. Help make a kid happy and volunteer so we can make next year the best KAAFD event ever!

Help us Sponsor this event by donating prizes or money for operating costs! We still need T-shirts and printing, hats, new fishing equipment, and raffle prizes. In addition to prizes for biggest fish caught, and biggest fish released, we will have drawings so that all the children will have a chance to win something. Also, all children will be receiving gift bags with literature, trinkets, lures, and gum. Any donations large or small will be appreciated by all.

Next year will be open to all children ages 6 to 16. There will be prizes awarded for four categories.

We want to ensure that all children have a good time again this year! Prizes to be awarded will be announced prior to event! This event will take place on Nevada's Free fishing day and in conjunction with National Boating Week.
The derby will start at 9 AM and we will have weigh-in at 12 noon. Catch and release weigh-in will continue throughout the derby. Please be sure to register by filling out form to the right.
