Fish Story.......
It was a sunny day turned bad after 1300 the storm moved over the Island and rocked the 40 footer with 6-8 foot wind chop.
We had a crew of four females aboard tired of a day of Tuna fishing. I was on the flybridge with the captain getting a wet ass because of the chop and spray. He suggested I go below and see how the girls were doing and watch the teasers we had out proclaiming “It was perfect Marlin Weather”. The girls were sleeping so I took a seat in the galley and watched the teasers dance behind the boat. We were in such chop sometimes you could only see blue water over the stern. As the boat leveled the rear starboard pole gave a terrible bend and line began to scream from the Tiagara 130. I looked behind the boat to see one of the most magnificent sights I can remember. A monster Blue Marlin Tail Dancing across our wake. I dove through the door jumped in the fighting chair and an hour and thirty five minutes later the largest fish I have ever caught came aboard.
